Take a trip. Experience a new culture. Change lives.
Throughout the world, millions of families are living in substandard
housing. You can help change their lives through a Thrivent Builds
Worldwide and Habitat for Humanity trip.
Join other like-minded volunteers and team leader Daria Erdmann of
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity, to help build a home with a
partner family in need of simple, decent, affordable housing in
Nicaragua, the third poorest country in the Americas. This is an
opportunity to learn new skills, experience a new culture, meet others
who share your passion to make a difference, and do something really
amazing—help give a family a chance at economic independence.
It’s a life-changing opportunity to see the world, build
relationships across cultures, construct a Habitat house, and
learn more about yourself!

A challenge has been
issued from a member of our church who wishes to remain anonymous. A
donation has been promised of $5,000.00 to our Building Fund with this
stipulation: that a matching amount be made to First Baptist Church,
again to the Building Fund. Any Takers??
Our Building Fund offerings have not met the mortgage payments so far
this year. Please be in prayer for our Building Fund offerings. Your
Stewardship Committee will be addressing this issue in the coming weeks.
