A Message from Our Pastor

We live in a world of broken families, marriages, and relationships... people are

crying out for help. People are searching for truth in a society that has lost its

compass for determining what’s right and wrong. People are longing for hope

because they have become weary of fighting the currents of financial troubles,

work pressures, and stress.

I want to share with you some good news! Jesus loves you and knows exactly

what you’re going through. If you belong to Him, He will never leave you nor

forsake you. He will help you anytime, anyplace, with any problem. One of the

places you can receive that help is at church. Jesus established the church to be

a loving, caring, helpful place to find the truth and answers you’re looking for; to

give you strength from loving Christian friends.

At First Baptist Church of Punta Gorda, we want to share with you the salvation,

hope, encouragement and perspective on life available only through a

relationship with Jesus Christ.
